A Control Panel is a tool employed to manage the content of a web hosting account. Including, but is not limited to, files, e-mail messages, databases, statistics and various operations executed with them. The Control Panel provides a web-based interface to handle these things and everything else related to the website hosting service through different sections in which you can access functions through menus and/or buttons. The less difficult to use a CP is, the simpler it'll be for you to control your online presence as a whole. In the standard case, the CP is the hosting account’s back office, while a different billing account is employed to handle payments and domain name registrations - if the company provides this service. Trouble tickets could be addressed through the billing account or via a separate system.
